Privacy Policy
This is our marketing site — it's intentionally light on data. Here's exactly what that means.
Last updated June 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Dewfall Studios (“Dewfall”, “we”, “us”) handles information in connection with this website at https://dewfallstudios.com (the “Site”). The Site is our marketing presence: it tells you about what we build and lets you get in touch.
Our products are separate. The services we offer — web development, email, payments, shortlinks and SMS — run on their own platforms with their own sign-up and their own terms and privacy notices. This policy covers only this marketing Site. It does not cover how data is processed inside those products once you become a customer.
The short version
We don't run analytics, set advertising cookies, build profiles or sell data on this Site. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us when you contact us. That's it.
Information we collect
What you send us. Our contact form opens your own email app with a pre-filled message — it does not submit anything to a server we control. When you send that email (or write to us directly), we receive what you include: your name, email address, an optional company name, the product you're interested in, and your message. We use it solely to read and respond to your enquiry.
Technical data from hosting. The Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare automatically processes basic technical information needed to serve pages and protect the Site — such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is handled under Cloudflare's own privacy terms.
Fonts. We load typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those font files directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request. This is handled under Google's privacy terms.
We do not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, advertising pixels or fingerprinting on this Site.
Why we use it and our legal basis
We process the limited information above to respond to your enquiry, to provide and secure the Site, and to comply with our legal obligations. Depending on where you are, our lawful basis is your consent (when you choose to contact us) and our legitimate interest in operating a safe, functioning website and replying to people who reach out.
Retention
Because the Site stores nothing itself, the only records we keep are the email conversations you start with us. We retain those for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting relationship, and then delete or archive them in line with our normal business practice.
International visitors
We're based in Nairobi, Kenya and serve clients across Africa and around the world. If you contact us from another country, your information will be processed in Kenya and wherever our service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to protect it consistent with applicable law.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law — including Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, and comparable laws such as the GDPR for visitors in Europe — you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent at any time; and
- lodge a complaint with your data protection authority — in Kenya, the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC).
To exercise any of these, email us at hello@dewfallstudios.com.
Children
The Site is intended for businesses and professionals, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date in the header above. Material changes will be reflected here on this page.
